Restless

Habang ako'y nagpapagaling sa sakit ko
Nanood ng isang movie ang ginawa ko.
Restless ang pamagat nito,
Feeling ko gawang Koreano.
Engrande ang effects at kung-fu,
Ang production at cinematography, Panalo!
Kwento ito ng anghel at demonyo
Nadamay lang ang isang tao.
Agawan ng kapangyarihan ang main topic nito,
Pero siyempre pag-ibig ang pumaimbabaw dito.

Summary:

It is AD 924, at the end of the United Shilla Dynasty. Continuous riots sweep the land ruled by a corrupted government. Evil forces are rampant and malicious demons roam the land. YI Kwak, born with the powers to see spirits, joins the royal demon hunting squad, ‘Chuh-yong-dae’ after losing his fiancĂ©e, Yon-hwa to evil demons. YI Kwak excels as the most talented warrior of Chuh-yong-dae and the royal squad seems to gain momentum as powerful fighters against the forces of darkness. Then one day, YI Kwak drifts into Joongcheon, the world of the dead through a strange shrine. Joongcheon, the intermediate world between Heaven and Earth, a place souls remain for 49 days, preparing for reincarnation.

Baby and Me

Another korean movie hit my Saturday night. Instead of watching anime, I preferred to watch this movie entitled Baby and me. It was again a very simple movie but it has a substance that I require for every movie that I watch. The story revolves around a senior high student for about two-three months of his life.

The title may sound cheezy but it has a lot of values to learn especially to the teens of our generation. The movie may not satisfy the acting, the drama and the comedy but I assure you that it can give you a lasting lesson. And that is to be safe to our sex life, wahahaha! Not only that, it also talks about education, poverty, and realtionship within the family.

While watching the movie I remembered and missed a lot of things especially my mom and my dad. It's true, not sometimes but always, that we more appreciate the people after loosing them. Before the movie is finished, I didn't notice the tears rolling down into my cheeks :*(.

I wish I could finish school first and have a decent job before ending up to this story. Ha ha ha!

Here is the summary of the story:

Jun-su is a popular but rebellious 19-year-old. One day, his parents give him an ultimatum, leaving him alone in the house to rehabilitate his life. He doesn't mind the independence until a six-month-old baby Wooram is delivered to his doorstep. He has no choice but to care for Wooram and attend to his demand for breast milk. Where can he find a nanny?

The summary is just a piece of the whole story so I suggest you to watcch it for you not to missed the fun part. And how can you let miss the cute baby ;-)

About 200 days prior to the college entrance exam, a school manages a cram course for its top 20 students. Evaluated only by their grades, school life is so stressful that some students suffer from serious mental problems. A sudden piano solo of "Fur Elise" wakes up the sleeping students and a screen shows the top student, Hye Yeong, dying in a water tank. My Mighty Princess

I was looking for a good movie to watch when I was stumbled upon the weird title "My mighty princess" and it got my attention. Whenever we hear the word princess, we think of a beautiful and modest lady. Unless, the plot is during the ancient times where there is war between kingdoms. As the title implies, I guess the movie is good, but I found it's not. Its FANTASTIC!!! Yebaaaa!!!

It is a korean film. As expected from the previous korean movies I've watched, I was not disappointed. The movie is full of humor but with a very superb action. Actually, I already put it on the list of my favorite movies. Very simple movie but very very good. (clap, clap, clap)

Here is the summary of the story.

KANG So-hwi, a beautiful martial arts prodigy, is about to embark on a journey into adulthood. But her journey is like no other. Her super-human strength and martial arts prowess scares away her fellow undergrads and even the boy she has fallen for. Devastated, So-hwi decides to give up martial arts and takes a different path. Her father, a martial artist himself, is afraid of losing an heiress to the family’s martial artistry, and missions So-hwi’s old buddy Il-yeong to persuade her to stay in the field. Meanwhile, the evil Heuk-bong provokes a war to conquer the martial arts world with the legendary Fine Blade he stole in the past, killing every swordsman one after another. So-hwi’s father comes to a showdown with Heuk-bong, but the battle leaves him fatally injured. On the brink of her father’s death, So-hwi picks up a sword again with a burning desire for revenge.
